Join us on Saturday, March 31st for our Annual Spring Picnic and Garden Gallop! This is the best day of the year to see our farm and celebrate Springtime in Austin with your friends and family. Our 200 acre farm is nestled just along the Colorado River, and on March 31st, our fields will be bursting with life. We can't wait to show you our endless rows of tomatoes and lush carrot beds.
If you've never participated in our Garden Gallop, you're missing out! This short, 5K (3.1 mile) loop through our farm is perfect for runners and walkers, alike, and is truly the best way to see a working organic farm. Skip past our composts pile, jog through towers of tomatoes, and celebrate your health and our robust farm community this Spring. If a Garden Gallop seems a little err... rigorous... to you, feel free to think of this as a Garden Stroll. However you roll, you’ll never experience our farm and your food production in quite the same way and running amongst the fields. There’s not another 5k like this out there! For small kiddos, we’ll also have a shorter, Kids Fun-Run. A big thank you to Steve and our friends at Rogue Running who help us turn in our bustling farm into a dynamic race course every Spring!
Spring Picnic: Skip the Gallop all-together, and bust out your best picnic blanket. Relax on our farm lawn, and enjoy some live tunes while the kids explore the surrounding fields. This year we are beyond excited to bring the blues to our Butterfly Stage. Johnny Nicholas and Scrappy Judd Newcomb will be gracing the stage at 11:15, followed by Oscar Ornelas at 1pm. The Ginger Armadillo will be serving some delicious food, and we’ll have plenty of activities for the kids including an “egg” hunt, arts and crafts, and a ginormous sand pile. Byob, byo-picnic blanket, byo-dancin’ shoes, byo-good vibes.

Tickets are only $5 for adults (to help us pay the bands!) and kids under 12 get in free. Please buy your ticket in advance and let us know who's coming! Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.

Tickets to the Garden Gallop/Community Picnic are just $5. Kids under 12 get in free to both the Gallop + Picnic. Just let us know how many are coming!
